In Florida this morning, a robber walked into Coral Gables Bank of America and took hostages. There’s an investigation into the kidnapping that preceded this hostage scenario. All hostages had left the structure less than four hours following the scenario started.
Bank of America’s Coral Gables hostage situation
Reporters have been informed that the Coral Gables Bank of America heist began on Thursday night. The connection isn’t certain, however is being investigated. The person who was kidnapped had to strap themselves to a bomb. Allegedly, the individual entered the financial institution before it opened. The response to the hostage scenario started at 8 within the morning. The transportation infrastructure around the Coral Gables Bank of America was shut down, as were the schools right across the street from the bank.
Miami hostage kidnapped Thursday evening
The bank robbery in Miami has been associated with a home attack on Thurs — an invasion that may have also been a kidnapping. Police are on the lookout for two individuals driving a red Mustang. It was a Coral Gables Bank of America employee that was strapped to the bomb. Nobody is certain yet if those responsible for this crime actually entered the bank. There is no word yet if the crime at the Coral Gables Bank of America was a financial institution robbery. It is possible that the explosive device and Miami hostage scenario were intended to create a distraction.
Hostages leave before the bomb was diffused
There is full confirmation from Coral Gables Bank and the FBI that hostages were kept in the financial institution during the morning. The last hostage left Coral Gables Bank relatively easily. By 11:20 a.m., everyone had exited the building. However, FBI and police confirm that the bomb squad is nevertheless on the scene. The bomb, which was initially reported as strapped to the kidnapped employee, might nevertheless be inside the Coral Gables bank. Until everything was declared safe, the highways, public transportation, and schools were all kept closed.
